Well it finally happened. It snowed here in VA for the first time this year. We had a pretend snow a few weeks ago,
but it didn't even last the morning. It started snowing yesterday afternoon and when we woke up this morning we had around 6 inches or so.
School was out, Chris and Michael were home and we got to build snowmen.
The kids were glued to the door watching it yesterday and then today when it was finally time to go play in the snow, Jordan was fascinated and could barely walk in it.
Alex cried almost the whole time that her hands were wet and cold and came inside early,
and Michael loved playing in the snow, but (of course) woke up this morning with a fever and has been on the couch for the rest of the day.
It still has been fun though! Glad we got at least one snow storm and that we will get a few days off from it. Hooray for having Chris home when neither of us is sick and we can actually enjoy each others company...

I agree - snow days are the best! I wish we had more of them here. Okay, I'd settle for just one. Love the snowmen!
