Mama's Birthday

Yesterday was Mama's birthday. We took her out to dinner at the fanciest place we could think of. Cici's. Since we have five kids under 6 (my three and Ricky and Amy's two) we decided that speed and kid friendly fare was more important than quality. So we celebrated her birthday at Cici's with pizza and cupcakes. The kids had a great time, and we didn't have to wait for the food. Hopefully she will forgive us.

On Saturday it was Maria's birthday party. It turned out nice. She had it at a park and the kids played and then had pizza and cupcakes. (I'm noticing a trend...) Amy is due with her next little girl in a few weeks and maria is excited to meet her new little sister.

The House is coming along well. Yesterday they started to put in the new windows. Imagine windows that will open and aren't painted shut! The siding is two thirds done, and it will be great when all this pounding is done. Hopefully they should be finishing up next week.
